Don Cayito |🥇1st Place

Finca Don Cayito, owned by Luis Ricardo Calderón Madrigal, was acquired 7 years ago and is located at 1,950 meters above sea level, covering 6 hectares. The farm is planted with 20% Typica Mejorado, 20% Geisha, and the remainder Red Catuai. This particular lot is a Geisha variety processed as white honey. After harvest, the coffee is processed the next day, pre-dried on raised beds for 2–3 days, then finished on patios before being stored in a dedicated cellar space.

The harvest season is in February, and the farm carries out four fertilizations per year, guided by soil analysis to meet plant-specific needs. Each batch is processed at the on-site micro-mill with complete traceability from reception to delivery to the exporter’s warehouse. With a focus on precision, variety-specific care, and a commitment to quality, Finca Don Cayito aims to consistently deliver exceptional coffee.
