Olman Sauceda, a second-generation Nicaraguan coffee producer and professional cupper, has won first place in the 2025 Nicaragua Cup of Excellence with his Finca Elite project. Inspired by his extensive experience as a national and international coffee taster, he created Finca Elite as a family project to combine tradition with innovation.

Located in Mozonte, Nueva Segovia, at 1,450-1,650 meters, the farm is an "exotic varieties garden" where they cultivate unique coffees like Orange Geisha, Sidra, and Borbón Rosado. The winning coffee, a Geisha processed with a Honey method, achieved a presidential score in its very first harvest. This victory validates their integral approach, which is focused on social and environmental responsibility.

For Olman, this award is more than a personal achievement; it's a dream fulfilled and a commitment to maintaining quality. It also serves as a guide for the Nicaraguan coffee sector, showcasing that it is possible to produce world-class coffees that represent the unique identity and attributes of their region.
