LA BOHEMIA |🥇1st Place

Finca La Bohemia began its journey 30 years ago when the property—then called La Esperanza—was acquired in a state of neglect. At the time, the land had been depleted by years of cassava monoculture, making coffee cultivation a challenge. Through a long process of soil recovery using organic matter, the team succeeded in planting Caturra coffee, which was later replaced with the Colombia variety to combat coffee leaf rust. Finally, in 2019, they introduced the Geisha variety, marking a new era of quality and resilience.

The name La Bohemia was coined by a colleague who recognized the owners’ spirited and artistic personality—lovers of music, lively conversation, celebration, and the beauty in everyday life. Today, La Bohemia is more than a coffee farm; it's a warm and joyful refuge where every visitor is welcomed with love and hospitality.

What once began as La Esperanza has evolved into La Bohemia—a place of transformation, passion, and community, where the art of coffee is celebrated with soul and style.
