Legesse is a 30-year-old father of four and a dedicated coffee grower in Bursa Kebele, Arbegona Woreda, within Ethiopia’s Sidama region. On his 0.43-hectare plot, he cultivates the 74158 variety, producing high-quality dry-natural processed coffee.

In his first-ever participation in a national competition, Legesse was thrilled to learn that his coffee placed among the top 40. “I am happy,” he shared. “It is my first time participating, and I didn’t expect to make it to the top 40.”
