What is your job and where do you live and work?

I live and work in the United Arab Emirates. I am an engineer in the secret seal industry.

What does coffee mean to you and what do you love about it?

Five years ago I worked as a barista in a small coffee shop in Kyiv. And I became acquainted with alternative coffee brewing already a long time ago. I love making coffee at home for myself and my friends.

What is your experience with Comandante grinders and what do you like about them?

I was first introduced to the Comandante grinder when I gave it to a friend of mine for his birthday. I realized that it is the ideal option for making delicious coffee at home and not only. I wanted to buy it, but fate had it so that soon I won it in a contest. Archers was holding a competition. It was an interesting experience.

Why did you apply for the Comandante Grind and Brew Cup?

I wasn't confident in my abilities as I only brew V60 at home, for myself and my friends. But my friend said I was good at it and it would be silly not to try competing. So I signed up for the Comandante Championship.

How was the competition for you?

The competition was so exciting. And this is an unexpected victory for me. Thank you to my support team, without them I would not have been able to cope with my emotions. I would also like to thank all the participants for the great competition. And the jury members for their experience and presence at this championship.

What are your future goals?

I'll still be brewing delicious coffee at home, using my new Comandante Champion Grinder. I will continue to grow my coffee know-how and maybe take part in some more competitions.

What is your advice for future competitors?

To future participants, I advise them not to be afraid and try their brewing skills. Brew coffee whenever possible and enjoy the flavour. And be sure to buy Comandante, it is an indispensable item in your coffee inventory. Thank you and have a nice day!
