What is your job and where do you live and work?

I live on the island of Gran Canaria, I am a barista at Coffe Córner.

What does coffee mean to you and what do you love about it?

I feel very proud to be the last link in a great chain in the world of coffee. I am always looking for the best result in a cup for both my guests and anyone who wants to share a pleasant moment with me with a brew in their hands. I would like to use this opportunity to thank all the coffee farmers, thanks to whom the rest of the world can enjoy a good cup of coffee.

What is your experience with Comandante grinders and what do you like about them?

I have to be honest, before the competition I only had a few chances to use a Comandante. I really like the ease with which I grind my beans and the homogeneity of the grounds. Thus I am able to get the best out of my coffee beans. And you can really feel it being reflected in the cup.

Why did you apply for the Comandante Grind and Brew Cup?

Everything has drawn me to it. I love coffee fairs, events and of course championships. When I had the opportunity to sign up for the Comandante Championship I did not hesitate for a second.

How was the competition for you?

In the competition I felt very calm and I had a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the competition format and being able to win the game with two wild cards is just insane!
