What is your job and where do you live and work?
A barista who work and live in Sydney of Australia. But I have to say I had lived in Melbourne for three years. This experience have influenced me a lot as a Barista.
What does coffee mean to you?
I fell in love with coffee when I took my first sip. Now it helps me to understand and connect with society and people in Australia. I guess it will help me to connect with more people and understand the world better in the future.
What do you love about Comandante grinders, and how did you hear about them?
Comandante grinder brings me the superb experience of grinding coffee beans. You will understand this feeling when you are holding it and grinding coffee. You don’t have to struggle with rotating your handle to grind coffee every time. Moreover, Comandante grinder has many other colors and styles. I am still craving another even though I already got my champ special grinder. Most of the reviews about Comandante grinder I have heard are positive, it is the dream baby for every barista. The only complaints about grinder I guess probably once you bought a Comandante grinder, you would like to say goodbye to all your electrical grinder.
Why did you apply for the Comandante Grind & Brew Cup?
I applied for this comp all because Comandante company made a very cool comp rules video. Of course, for the coolest grinder ever in the world. :)
What do you love about making coffee?
Coffee beans are one of the most magical things in the world. To explore all the magic behind the coffee is the motivation for me to make coffee.
What are your future goals?
To become the world brewer champion and hopefully, Comandante company will make me a special customized grinder when I achieve it.
How was the Comandante Grind & Brew Cup for you?
It was awesome. It might be my best memory after I have lived in Australia. It was my first coffee champion. And also, Comandante and ONA did create an awesome coffee event which I believe every competitor had fun.
What is your advice for future competitors?
Of course, the most important advice is getting a Comandante grinder right now. right now, right. (you need to emphasize the important things three times).
Get to know the grinder, get to know the coffee beans you going to use.
Last but not least, no pressure and enjoy your event with your little but powerful grinder.
