What is your job and where do you live and work?

I am a barista currently living and working in Hangzhou.

What does coffee mean to you and what do you love about it?

For me, coffee is a good way to spice up my life. I have a passion for coffee and have wanted to work in this industry since I was 14 years old. I am also very fortunate to be able to continue and grow in this industry.

What is your experience with Comandante grinders and what do you like about them?

The particle quality of the Comandante grinder is uniform, and the brewed coffee has better flavour, sweetness and acidity. That is why I like it so much!

Why did you apply for the Comandante Grind and Brew Cup?

Because this is the first one in China, I am very interested in this event. I used Comandante in my previous competitions. I signed up without hesitation, and I was lucky to be able to qualify among so many players.

How was the competition for you?

Competitions are the main way for me to improve myself. I can also learn some brewing ideas and methods from other players. What's more important is that I could make many new friends.

What are your future goals?

My future goal is to win a national championship in China, no matter which category. I also hope to have a chance to compete with other Comandante champions from around the world and learn from each other.

What is your advice for future competitors?

When brewing coffee in daily work or life, you can find your own brewing framework. Optimize this framework and check with friends and family. Use it in various competitions, and get feedback from the judges. Think more and learn more. I wish Comandante all the best and I look forward to the launch of new products.
