Basha, a 30-year-old father of four from East Sidama Bensa Woreda, reached a remarkable milestone by earning a score of 90.5 and becoming one of the two Presidential Award winners at the 2024 Cup of Excellence Ethiopia.

Basha learned the art of traditional coffee farming from his father, who often reminded him that “coffee is our bread.” That deep-rooted wisdom shaped his dedication to the craft. Reflecting on his achievement, Basha shared his pride and gratitude, feeling encouraged by the recognition and proud to represent his community on the international stage.
