Las Brumas | 🥇Experimental
Finca Las Brumas was purchased in 2009, inspired by its natural beauty and distinctive microclimate. Located on the slopes of the Santa Ana Volcano in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Range, in the department of Sonsonate, El Salvador, the farm covers 150 hectares—100 of which are cultivated with coffee, while the remaining 50 are preserved as virgin cloud forest.
Nestled between three of El Salvador’s most prominent and scenic volcanoes, collectively known as “Parque Nacional de los Volcanes,” the area enjoys a temperate and misty microclimate for most of the year. This unique atmosphere is what led to the name Las Brumas, meaning “The Mists.”
During the winter agricultural season, when most farm work is performed, the farm supports an average of 30 full-time workers per day. During the coffee harvest season, from January to April, this number rises to around 40 temporary workers daily. The team’s commitment ensures the consistent production of high-quality coffee in harmony with the farm’s rich natural surroundings.
