Fazenda Rio Verde | 🥇Experimental
Fazenda Rio Verde, founded in 1887, is the oldest agricultural estate of our company and a jewel nestled in the heart of the Mantiqueira Mountains. Surrounded by lush forests, crystal-clear springs, and ecological trails, the farm stands as a living example of harmony between sustainable production and environmental preservation.
Our on-site environmental monitoring center conducts vital conservation efforts, including water resource management, reforestation with native seedlings, the cultivation of wild bees, and the ongoing study of local fauna and flora. The soil here is uniquely rich in minerals, organic matter, and clay—one of the many natural treasures that make this farm so special.
With a highly skilled and passionate team, Fazenda Rio Verde houses a state-of-the-art coffee milling and storage facility that ensures precision and consistency throughout the entire production chain.
This year’s G54 ORANGE coffee was cultivated at 1,260 meters above sea level and selectively harvested by a dedicated team of men and women. The coffee underwent controlled anaerobic fermentation in sealed tanks, meticulously overseen by our technical staff. It was then dried slowly and naturally on raised beds before being stored in high-barrier bags. The beans rested in husk for 60 days prior to final milling—an approach designed to preserve the coffee’s exceptional character.
This unique and flavorful lot was selected for the Cup of Excellence due to its outstanding taste profile and meticulous post-harvest process.
