La Reforma Y Anexos | 🥇Exotic Washed
La Reforma Farm began its agricultural journey in 1904 when it was acquired by Mr. Manuel Pérez. Initially dedicated to growing tobacco, corn, and beans, the farm’s transition into coffee production began in 1939 under the care of his son, Leonardo.
Leonardo the second, who started working at a very young age, was instrumental in introducing coffee to the farm. He and his relatives would manually harvest and process the coffee, then undertake a six-day journey on foot with mules from Agua Dulce, Cuilco to Huehuetenango to sell it. He fondly remembered the joy of returning home on muleback after a successful sale.
Today, the fourth generation of the Pérez family continues to cultivate coffee with pride and dedication. The fifth generation is already involved, working toward making La Reforma one of the finest farms in Huehuetenango.
