Olman Balladares represents Inversiones Valladarez Acevedo S.A., a company proudly managing multiple farms dedicated to producing exceptional specialty coffee. Two of their farms—Finca Buenos Aires and Finca Los Alpes—competed in this year’s Cup of Excellence, both earning Presidential Awards with scores above 90 points.

Finca Buenos Aires entered the competition with a Maracaturra variety and was awarded 2nd place with a presidential score of 91.60.

Finca Los Alpes submitted a Geisha variety processed using the natural method and won 1st place with a score of 90.25.

Olman shares that these achievements bring him immense pride and gratitude. “Thanks to God for guiding us to improve each day,” he says. “I am also deeply thankful for our hardworking team, who have dedicated themselves for years to the pursuit of continuous improvement and the quest to produce the very best coffee.”
